Edit PDF controls

With the PDF Engine 3.0, you can test whether the content of a PDF file is what you expect it to be.

This chapter explains how to edit the controls you have created in your PDF file. You can then save them as a Module and create tests based on the PDF Module.

You can edit the controls that you have created in the PDF Scan window by performing the following actions:

To select an area, click it in either the PDF View or the Controls View.
To jump to a specific area in the PDF View, double-click the icon of the control in the Controls View or click the Jump icon.
To change the name of an area, double-click its name in the Controls View.
To change the size of an area, select it in the PDF View, and resize the rectangle.
To change the location of an area, select it in the PDF View and drag the rectangle to its new location.
To change the type of an area, right-click it in the PDF View and select a new type from the context menu (text, image or table).
To redraw an area, click the Redraw icon next to the control in the Controls View.
To delete an area, click the Delete icon next to the control in the Controls View, or right-click the area in the PDF View and select Remove this control from the context menu.
