User-specific settings are saved to the user.<Version>.config file. This file is by default saved to the directory %APPDATA%\TRICENTIS\Tosca Testsuite\Settings in the subdirectory of the respective component, e.g. Tosca Commander, TCShell, etc. These directories are automatically created upon Tricentis Tosca standard installation. The file is applied to each Tosca version that is newly installed.

The available settings are described in detail in chapter "Section userSettings". These must match the settings of the TOSCACommander.exe.config file. For further information on the XML file structure, please see also chapter "Configuration Files".

The settings specified in the user.<Version>.config file overrule the settings of the TOSCACommander.exe.config and TCShell.exe.config file.

User-specific configurations of AddIns must be removed from the user.<Version>.config file after the AddIn has been uninstalled.

Individual users can also change their own settings. To do so, click the Project tab in the top left corner and select Options.
