Authenticate for Tosca Server

If you use Tosca Server with an HTTPS binding, you need to authenticate whenever you want to use a Tosca Server feature. For example if you trigger a TestEvent.

If you work in a Tosca Server Repository workspace, you only have to authenticate once when you open the workspace.

In this case, you get a sign-in dialog where you need to enter your Tricentis User Administration credentials.

How you sign in depends on how your administrator set up Tricentis User Administration:

  • If you got an email invitation or you self-registered, enter the email address and password you specified during the account activation process.

  • If your administrator has set up Active Directory connections, enter your email address and password. Enter <LDAP name@domain> as your email address. For example, manfs@yourcompany.com.

If you have installed Tosca Server patch 9 or later, you can also use your standard email address. For example, manfred.sillinger@yourcompany.com.

  • If your administrator has enabled Single Sign-On, click on SSO and enter your Windows credentials: email and password.
