First Steps Tutorial
Our First Steps Tutorial takes you through one use case.
Situation
You are working for an insurance company. Your new website is designed to generate insurance quotes for potential clients. Now you want to test your website.
For the purposes of this tutorial, Tricentis offers a demo application.
The demo application consists of several pages that take you through the insurance quoting process. Feel free to try it out!
What you need for this tutorial
To perform the steps described in this tutorial, you must meet the following requirements:

You have installed Tricentis Tosca with a valid license.

You have a workspace. A single-user workspace is sufficient.

You have installed one of the supported browsers.

The browser zoom is set to 100%.
Each tutorial chapter explains the basic concept of what you're about to do and why. But it will help to be a little more familiar with the concept of Tricentis Tosca. So if you haven't yet, check out the following introductory chapters:

"Get to know Tricentis Tosca" explains the base functionality of Tricentis Tosca.

"Get to know your workspace" explains how to start Tosca Commander, open a workspace, and navigate your workspace.
What you will do
The goal of this tutorial is a TestCase that automates the following process:

Enter information on the vehicle, insurant, and insurance type.

Check whether the insurance website calculates a correct quote for the given data.
Process
To complete the tutorial, you need to perform the following steps:

Scan the demo application to create Modules.

Tell Tricentis Tosca what to do. In other words, create a TestCase from your Modules.
