With user management in multi-user environments, you can perform the following actions:
Create users
Set and change user passwords
Synchronize users and groups with LDAP
Assign users to groups
Assign rights to users and groups
Use hierarchical structures
Only members of the Admins user group are allowed to manage users and user groups.
To access user management functions in RPA Studio, follow the steps below:
In the Home menu, click on Project.
Check out the project root element.
To do so, select the project root element in the project tree and click on Checkout in the Home menu.
Click on the Usermanagement tab.

By default, RPA Studio contains the user groups Admins and All users. You can't delete either group.
The following columns contain relevant information for RPA Studio:
Column
Description
Domain
Shows the domain from which you have synchronized the user (see "Synchronize user groups").
Enter a description of a particular user or user group.
Enabled
Enable or disable users (see "Remove a user").
Level
Use the drop-down menu to classify users:
Basic: limited access to functions and limited objects in the Search.
Advanced: limited access to objects in the Search.
Expert: access to all functions and operations.
The default level is Expert.
Owning Group
Use the drop-down menu to select an Owning Group for a particular user group (see "Manage write permissions for user groups").
Once you have performed your user management actions, you need to check the project root element back in.
To do so, select the project root element in the project tree and click on Checkin all in the Home menu.
