Migrate from other plugins
You can migrate test cases and/or test data from other plugins to your current Tricentis Test Management for Jira project. Currently, you can migrate your data from Zephyr Squad (both 1.0 and 2.0), Zephyr Scale, or Xray.

The following process describes how to migrate your data from the Zephyr Squad to Tricentis Test Management for Jira. The process assumes that both Zephyr Squad and Tricentis Test Management for Jira are deployed on the same instance and share the same Jira account. In addition, the project used in Zephyr Squad has to be initialized in Tricentis Test Management for Jira.
To migrate the data from Zephyr Squad to Tricentis Test Management for Jira, follow these steps:

In Tricentis Test Management for Jira, go to Settings > Test Management Settings > Plugins Migration.

Under Ongoing Migration, select Zephyr Squad.

Select one of the following options and then select Continue:

Old version: If you are using the legacy version of Zephyr Squad with the old UI.

New version: If you are using the updated version of Zephyr Squad with the new UI.

Select Go to Zephyr Squad API keys page.

Select Create access token and Copy it.

Go back to the Tricentis Test Management for Jira tab and paste the access token into the Access token field.

Select Go to Jira API keys page and then select Continue to open the API Tokens screen in another tab.

Select Create API token and enter a name for it in the Name field.

Select Create then Copy the hidden API token and select Done.

Go back to the Tricentis Test Management for Jira and paste the API token into the Jira token field.

Select Validate keys and then Continue.

Select the project from Zephyr Squad that will also be used in Tricentis Test Management for Jira and then select Continue. The project must be initialized for Tricentis Test Management for Jira.

Select Review Zephyr Squad test cases to review the test cases that will be migrated and then select Continue.
A progress bar will show the migration process.

Click Done.
The migration is complete and is now visible in the list of historical migrations. Optionally, you can download the project migration report.

The process assumes that both Zephyr Scale and Tricentis Test Management for Jira are deployed on the same instance and share the same Jira account. In addition, the project used in Zephyr Scale has to be initialized in Tricentis Test Management for Jira.
To migrate the data from Zephyr Scale to Tricentis Test Management for Jira, follow these steps:

In Tricentis Test Management for Jira, go to Settings > Test Management Settings > Plugins Migration.

Under Ongoing Migration, select Zephyr Scale.

Select Go to Zephyr Scale API keys page.

Select Create Access token and then Copy.

Go back to the Tricentis Test Management for Jira tab and paste the access token into the Access token field.

Select Go to Jira API keys page and then select Continue to open the API Tokens screen in another tab.

Select Create API token and enter a name for it in the Name field and then select Create.

For the hidden API token, select Copy and then Done.

Go back to the Tricentis Test Management for Jira tab and paste the API token in the Jira token field.

Select Validate keys and then Continue.

Select the project that was used in Zephyr Scale and will be also used in Tricentis Test Management for Jira and then select Continue. The project must be initialized for Tricentis Test Management for Jira.

Select the Review Zephyr Scale test cases link to review the test cases that will be migrated and then select Continue.
A progress bar will show the migration process. At the end of the process, you can optionally download the Project Migration Report.

Select Done.
The migration was completed and added to the list of Historical Migrations.

The following process describes how to migrate your data from Xray to Tricentis Test Management for Jira. The process assumes that both Xray and Tricentis Test Management for Jira are deployed on the same instance and share the same Jira account. In addition, the project used in Xray has to be initialized in Tricentis Test Management for Jira.
To migrate the data from Xray to Tricentis Test Management for Jira, follow these steps:

In Tricentis Test Management for Jira, go to Settings > Test Management Settings > Plugins Migration.

Under Ongoing Migration, select Xray, then Continue.

Select Go to Xray API keys page, then select Create API Key.

Select a user from the User dropdown menu and select Generate.

Copy the Client Id and paste it in the Client ID field in the Tricentis Test Management for Jira tab.

Go back to the API keys page and copy the Client Secret.

Go back to the Tricentis Test Management for Jira tab and paste it into the Client Secret field.

In the same tab, select Validate Keys and then Continue.

Select the project you want to use in Tricentis Test Management for Jira and then select Continue. The project must be initialized for Tricentis Test Management for Jira.

To review the list of test cases that Tricentis Test Management for Jira will migrate, select Review Xray test cases.

To trigger the migration, select Continue.
Once the migration is complete, you can download the Project Migration Report.

Select Done.
The migration is complete and added to the list of Historical Migrations.
View historical migrations
Historical migrations
You can view a list of migrations that have been completed. To view the list, go to Settings > Test Management Settings > Plugins Migration > Historical Migrations. The list displays the following details:

Project: The name of the project that was used in Zephyr Scale and that is also used in Tricentis Test Management for Jira.

Migrated test cases: The number of test cases that have been successfully migrated.

Failed test cases: The number of test cases that could not be migrated.
-
Migration date: The date of the migration.
-
Status: The status of the migration. Possible statuses include: completed, failed, and canceled.

Report: Select to download the migration report.
