Examining Vaults

To examine the contents of a Vault, select it from the Data/Vaults folder in the LiveCompare hierarchy and choose ‘View Contents’ from the Vault’s context menu. Alternatively select the Vault and click ‘View Contents’ in the Details pane. The Details screen displays the contents of the Vault in a hierarchy which has one of the following two structures:

Vaults that Store SAP Tables

<Vault Name> (Vault)

Object Results

<Table1>

<TableN>

Shelved

<Table1>

<TableN>

<Local Table1>

<Local TableN>

This shows an example of a Vault that has been used to store tables retrieved from SAP. Tables from the list of Source objects provided to the Record Snapshot action are stored directly underneath the Object Results folder. The Shelved folder contains SAP tables that are in the Vault, but missing from the latest list of Source objects provided to the Record Snapshot action.

If the Vault has been used previously to store Table datasets from a workflow, these are shown as local tables directly underneath the Shelved folder.

Vaults that Store Table Datasets

<Vault Name> (Vault)

Local Tables

<Local Table1>

<Local TableN>

Shelved

<Table1>

<TableN>

<Local Table1>

<Local TableN>

This shows an example of a Vault that has been used to store Table datasets from a workflow. When a Table dataset is added to a Vault, it is stored in the Vault’s Local Tables and Shelved folders. If the Vault has been used previously to store SAP tables, these are shown with their appropriate table names underneath the Shelved folder.

Select an object in a Vault hierarchy to display its Revisions Details in the Details pane.
