Object Type Results
A Hierarchy dataset includes an <Object Type> Results folder for each of the SAP object types that were retrieved or compared to populate the dataset. If the Get Subobjects property for the Get SAP Objects action is set to ‘true’, the subobjects for each object type are retrieved.
In the hierarchy returned by the Make Hierarchy action, each Results folder has the following structure:

ABAP Query: Functional areas
For ABAP Query: Functional areas, the ‘Data Read Program’ node appears in the Results hierarchy only when the AQSG’s Data Source is defined as a ‘Data retrieval by program’.
Table Contents
For table contents comparisons, if a table has different fields on each of the compared systems, only the fields that are common to both systems will be compared. Note that table contents cannot be compared for two tables that have different key fields.
Transport Table Keys
The TPRD object type may be used to retrieve and compare table key entries for the tables associated with a transport. Each object with type ‘Table Key’ in the hierarchy results stores a table name, and a set of key values which are concatenated with no spaces.
When a table key entry is compared in two different SAP systems, its comparison status is calculated as follows:
- The table name is read from each SAP system, looking for a row that matches the key values.
- If the row is found in each system, all the fields from each of the two rows, to determine whether the row’s comparison status should be ‘Same’ or ‘Different’.
- If the row exists in one system only, its comparison status will be either ‘In1’ or ‘In2’
- If the row does not exist in either system, its comparison status will be ‘CantCompare’.
Transport Table Key Folders
Transport Table Key Results folders and their subobjects, Transport Table Key Tables folders and Table Key Contents folders display the following details in the Details pane.

Details
Hierarchy datasets for retrieved or compared BW objects, BSP Applications, BSP Extensions, Form Object Forms, Form Object Interfaces, Report Variants, Transformations and Smart Forms include one or more Details folders. Details folders store the structure of their parent objects, and may have one or more child objects:
- Objects marked with
have a table in their Attributes tab which stores fields collected from
their subobjects. The objects may have additional attributes or code. - Objects marked with
have attributes and/or code.
BW objects that are attributes of the parent object also appear in the ‘Details’ hierarchy.
Unsupported Types
Hierarchy nodes marked with indicate an unsupported object type. These objects are included in the hierarchy as they may have child objects which are of one or more supported types.
Multiple Container Objects
When more than one BW hierarchy container object is retrieved (for example, for the APCO, AREA or IOBC object types), the results are combined into a single hierarchy.
Process Chains
In the title of the Details pane, a link is prefixed with [G] if the event is to be triggered when the preceding process has completed successfully. A link is prefixed with [R] if the event is to be triggered when the preceding process has completed with errors.
Queries
Conditions, exceptions, default values and variable properties are not supported in this release.
