Exporting Workflows
LiveCompare workflows may be exported to workflow templates, which are stored as XML files on the LiveCompare server. If you have LiveCompare Editor privileges, a workflow may be exported by carrying out the following steps:
- Expand the Workflows folder in a workspace hierarchy, and select the workflow you wish to export.
- Drag the selected workflow into the Data/Workflow Library hierarchy folder, or any of its subfolders.
The exported workflow is stored as an XML file in the <LiveCompare user data dir>\private\Workflow Library\<subfolder> folder.
A workflow may be developed incrementally by exporting it to a workflow template at various points, and renaming each workflow template in the LiveCompare hierarchy. Exported workflows may also be sent to Tricentis Technical Support for problem diagnosis or troubleshooting.
