Import and Export Parameters

Sometimes you may have already created and structured your Parameters in Microsoft Excel. In this case, re-creating them from scratch in qTest would be time-consuming and redundant. To save effort time, you can import your Parameters directly from Excel. You can also export Parameters to a .csv file for any purpose.

    • Add data to existing parameters. If a duplicate Parameter is detected, only additional data and values from the Parameter in the import file will be added to the existing Parameter.

    • Skip duplicate parameters. If a duplicate Parameter is detected, the duplicate Parameter in the import file will not be imported.

  6. Click Import.

Once the file is imported, the Import Parameters Result dialog appears. This dialog lists details for the Parameters that were imported, the Parameters that failed to import, and the Parameters that were skipped, if applicable.
