Create tree Module Attributes

You can create a tree Module Attribute from the structure of an XML or JSON message.

As opposed to the body Module Attribute, the tree Module Attribute includes a parent element and all its nodes rather than the whole message body.

Create tree Module Attributes from an XML message

To create a tree Module Attribute from an XML structure, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the Module and switch to the Technical View.

  2. Access the OSV menu.

  3. To mark the parent element you would like to steer, highlight it with your mouse.

  4. Click Add in the in the OSV menu.

Create tree Module Attributes from a JSON message

To create a tree buffer from a JSON structure, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the Module and switch to the Technical View.

  2. Access the OSV menu.

  3. To define the correct path for the tree Module Attribute, add the root element of the message as a Module Attribute.

  1. To mark the parent element you would like to steer, highlight it with your mouse.

  2. Click Add in the in the OSV menu.
