Edit JMS messages

OSV allows you to work with Java Message Service (JMS) messages. You can use the following service port technologies to do so:

• ActiveMQ

• ActiveMQ Artemis

• IBM MQ

• Oracle WebLogic

• Rabbit MQ

• Tibco EMS

Edit JMS messages in Tosca Commander

To edit your JMS messages, you have to access the OSV Modules that contain them in Tosca Commander. In the Technical View of each Module, you can make your changes.

Edit the payload

Go to the Payload tab to display the payload. The payload is the body of your message or the data it contains.

You can make your changes to the payload directly in the tab.

Edit transport information

Go to the Virtualization tab to change how your message is transported. For example, you can configure whether your message is incoming or outgoing or which service port you want to use.

To filter incoming JMS messages, you can specify a selector directly at the service port in the OSV Monitor. For detailed information on using selectors, select your service port technology in chapter "Configure service ports".
