Create a workspace for an existing branch

After you have created a new branch in Tricentis Tosca, you can create multi-user workspaces for this branch.

Work in branch workspaces

When working in your new workspace, the name of the branch in which you are currently working is displayed in the window header next to the workspace name and path. You need to check out objects in your branch in order to work with them.

You can also find the name of the branch you are currently working in by clicking on the Project tab and then clicking on Info.

Unavailable tasks in branch

Currently, the following tasks are unavailable when working in a branch:

If you are working in a branch workspace and someone else deletes the branch, you can still view your workspace and export your data to a subset, but you can no longer actively work with it.

To continue working, import your subset into the master branch. Any already existing XModules and XModuleAttributes are merged by default.
