Options - ReportingUI

To specify Reporting settings, go to Project->Options->ReportingUI.

Description

DefaultPrintOutputFormat

Specify the print output format for your reports:

  • ASKUSER uses the Windows Save dialog.

  • DELEGATE uses the Print Options dialog.

  • PRV creates a PRV file.

  • PRN creates a PRN file.

  • HTML creates an HTML file.

  • RTF creates an RTF file.

  • PDF creates a PDF file.

  • MHTML creates an MHTML file.

  • PICTURE_JPEG creates a JPEG file.

  • PICTURE_EMF creates an EMF file.

  • PICTURE_BMP creates a BMP file.

  • PICTURE_TIFF creates a TIFF file.

  • PICTURE_MULTITIFF creates a MULTITIFF file.

  • XLS creates an XLS file.

  • TXT creates a TXT file.

  • NONE uses the Windows Save dialog.

DefaultDesignerDefinitionType

Specify the Designer Definition:

  • None uses the context menu or the dynamic menu Reporting (see chapter "Select a Designer Definition").

  • Default uses the default setting for Report Definitions.

  • XML specifies XML as the default format.

  • Crystal Reports specifies Crystal Reports as the default format.

  • Excel specifies Excel as the default format.

ListAndLabelVersion

Specify the List & Label version that you use to modify reports.

Show PrintedReport

Automatically open the report after creation.

Enable ListAndLabel upgrade task

Allow upgrading the List & Label version of a report to the latest version.

DateTimeString

Print the report with a date and time stamp.

Options for automatically created reports

The following options only apply to automatically created reports. For example, reports that you created from virtual folders.

GeneratedReportNamePattern

Specify a report name pattern.

You can use the value {0} as a placeholder, which is then replaced by the name of the executed object.

GeneratedReportHeaderFontSize

Specify the font size in points (pt).

GeneratedReportUseZebraPattern

Alternate the background colors of even and odd rows with white and grey.

GeneratedReportsTCIconWidth

Specify the size of icons in micrometers.

For example, enter 5000 for an icon size of 5 millimeters.

GeneratedReportsPaperFormat

Specify the paper format.

Select one of the standard formats from the drop-down list.

GeneratedReportsPaperOrientation

Specify the orientation, either portrait or landscape.

The default format is Portrait.

GeneratedReportsJumpToCreatedReport

Specify that the application jumps directly to the newly generated report.

GeneratedReportsForceTextFieldWrap

Insert a line break for text in cells.
