Transfer Scenarios

Once you have created your OSV Scenario in Tosca Commander, you can run it in an OSV Environment. To do so, you have to transfer the Scenario to OSV first.

Which Scenarios can you transfer?

In general, you can deploy any OSV Scenario from Tosca Commander to OSV.

Before the transfer, Tosca Commander automatically performs a sanity check on the Scenarios. If the sanity check detects an error, Tosca Commander aborts the transfer. In this case, you have to correct the error and deploy the Scenarios to OSV again.

You can also transfer Java Message Service (JMS) Scenarios from Tosca Commander to OSV. However, Module Attributes that you create from resources, parameters, and attachments do not work for transferred JMS Scenarios. If you created these Module Attributes for a JMS Scenario in Tosca Commander, OSV ignores them after the transfer.

In which OSV Environment can you run your Scenario?

Tosca Commander automatically transfers the Scenario to the OSV Environment that you connected to the workspace.

If you manage multiple OSV Environments in one workspace, it uses the OSV Environment that you connected to the ComponentFolder that contains the Scenario. For more information on how to connect an OSV Environment, see chapter "Connect to OSV".
