New in version 2020.04

Welcome to Tricentis RPA Orchestrator 2020.04!

Stop Bot runs

You can now perform an emergency stop of a running Bot.

This is possible via RPA Cockpit or REST request.

User management enhancements

Our newest version of RPA Orchestrator adds yet another layer of security to keep sensitive data safe.

  • From now on, administrators determine who is allowed to handle which Bot. Users can only view, run, or check Bots that they have been assigned to.

If a user is not assigned to a particular Bot, they don't even see it on the Bots overview page.

  • RPA Orchestrator administrators decide who is allowed to move Bots from the design environment into the production environment.

As of this version, only authorized users can publish Bots in RPA Studio.

Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) support

RPA Orchestrator 2020.04 allows RDP connections to Agents. This means that you can now run your Bots even on locked Agent machines.

You configure an Agent for RDP access during the Agent installation. For more information on the installation and configuration of the RPA Orchestrator environment, see "Environment checklist".
