Assigning Users to Teams

The Assign Users to Teams screen allows users with Administrator privileges to assign users to the Development, Testing, InfoSec and Operations DevOps teams, and to review the current assignments. In the Consumer and Studio interfaces, users are able to access Apps that have been assigned to matching DevOps categories (as well as Apps that have not been assigned to a category).

To view or modify users’ DevOps team assignments, carry out the following steps:

  1. Select the Administration/Users folder in the LiveCompare hierarchy and choose ‘Assign to Teams…’ from the context menu. The Assign Users to Teams screen is displayed.
  2. Select the Development, Testing, InfoSec or Operations tab to view the users assigned to the corresponding DevOps team.
  3. Select a check box to add a user to the DevOps team; deselect a check box to remove a user from the DevOps team. Click ‘All’ to select all users in the current DevOps team, or ‘None’ to deselect all the users.
  4. Click ‘Save’ to save changes made in any of the tabs. When the changes have been saved, the Users screen is displayed.
