Configure OSV Scenarios

Before you can configure your OSV Scenario, you have to prepare the OSV Modules that the Scenario uses. Make sure that you have performed the following actions:

• You have defined Module Attributes. Module Attributes are the message elements that you want to steer in your Scenario, for example an ID or address.

• You have set the steering elements in your OSV Modules. These elements include information that is relevant for the message transport, such as the direction or scheduled time.

Configure your Scenario

To configure your Scenario, perform the steps below:

1. Generate XTestStepValues from the OSV Module that you want to use.

2. If needed, you can modify these XTestStepValues:

   • Edit values manually.

   • Use Paste from Clipboard.

3. If needed, edit the ActionModes that Tricentis Tosca sets automatically. ActionModes define how the system applies a Value.
