Connect to an on-premises license server

Activating licenses puts licenses onto your on-premises license server, either online servers or offline servers. To get access to these licenses and work with Tosca, you need to connect to the server.

How you do that depends on your version of Tosca:

To connect to the on-premises license server, follow these steps:

  1. Open Tosca and go to Project->License.

  2. In the Setup tab, select Change connection.

  3. On the next screen, select Connect to self-hosted license server and OK.

  4. Enter your license server address and port. By default, Tricentis License Server uses port 7070.

    If you use a proxy server, this screen also displays the Use default proxy checkbox. Make sure to activate it.

  5. Select OK.
