Configure authentication

The API Engine allows you to communicate with webservices using different authentication methods.

To configure the authentication of a selected Module, follow the steps below:

1. In the Technical View, click the Auth tab.

2. Select an authentication type from the Authentication drop-down menu.

In the following chapters, you will find detailed information on how to:

• Configure AWS Signature authentication

• Configure Basic authentication

• Configure Client Certificate authentication

• Configure Digest authentication

• Configure Java Keystore authentication

• Configure Kerberos/SPNEGO or NTLM authentication

• Configure OAuth 2.0 authentication

Once you have configured authentication, you can create Module Attributes for the authentication details to steer them in your API TestCases. For information on how to do so, see chapter "Create authentication Module Attributes".
