Dynamic menus

The Tosca Commander user interface contains several dynamic menus that show all relevant options for a selected object. These menus appear as an additional tab in the ribbon menu when you select a corresponding object in your workspace.

The following chapters provide an overview of the dynamic menus in Tosca Commander, and a description of what each menu item is for.

Dynamic menu - general options

The following options are available in all dynamic menus in the Clipboard and Edit sections:

Dynamic menu: Clipboard and Edit

Option	Description	Shortcut
Paste	Inserts objects from the clipboard at the selected position.	Ctrl + V
Cut	Cuts out a selected Tosca Commander object in order to be inserted later on.	Ctrl + X
Copy	Copies a selected object to the clipboard in order to be inserted later on.	Ctrl + C
Duplicate	Creates a duplicate of the selected object.	Ctrl + .
Delete	Deletes a selected area.	Del
Modify	Provides a list of available options to rename the selected object and to modify the parameters of the selected object. These options may vary depending on both the workspace and object (see "Options").
Attach File	Opens a dialog window from which you can choose files that should be embedded, referenced, or referenced and managed.
