Projects

Projects define the apps and external product links that support a particular SAP lifecycle event. Each Project’s apps and external product links are grouped into a number of steps, which define the phases of the project.

If you have LiveCompare Editor privileges, the Project screen may be accessed from the LiveCompare Dashboard by clicking , or from the LiveCompare Studio by clicking the second icon.

The Project screen has the following sections:

Project

The Project section includes details for the project chosen in the Select Project drop-down list box. It includes the following components:

Steps

The tabs at the top of the Projects section display the steps in the currently selected project. Select a tab to display the step’s app panels and external product links.

App panels

Each step may have zero or more app panels, which are links to LiveCompare standard apps in the consumer interface. Note that the name and description of each app panel may not match the name and description of its associated app. Each app panel has one or more icons in its lower right-hand corner, indicating the DevOps categories to which the panel belongs.

Advertisement panels

Each step may have zero or more advertisement panels, which are links to product pages on the Tricentis web site. Each advertisement panel includes a Tricentis product name and a description of how the product may be useful in supporting the particular project step.

Advertisement panels have a icon in their lower right-hand corner. Select an advertisement panel to display the appropriate product page on the Tricentis website.

Navigation panel

The navigation panel is displayed on the left-hand side of each Project screen, and includes the following icons:

	Displays the LiveCompare Dashboard.
	Displays the Apps screen.
	Displays the Projects screen.
	Returns to the LiveCompare Studio (available for users with LiveCompare Editor privileges).
	Displays the Quick Compare Wizard.
	Displays the LUX utility.
	Displays the Data Cleanser utility.
	Displays the Contacts utility.

Header

If you have LiveCompare Editor or Consumer privileges, the header section includes a Select Project drop-down list box, which allows the current project to be selected. If LiveCompare is resource group-controlled, the header section contains a Select Resource Group drop-down list box, which allows the current Resource Group to be selected.

If LiveCompare is resource group-controlled, the Projects screen only contains links to apps in the currently selected Resource Group.

The following icons are displayed on the top right-hand side of each Apps screen.

Icon	Description
	Allows you to provide feedback or improvement suggestions for LiveCompare. Log in using your Tricentis Support Portal account details.
	Accesses the Tricentis LiveCompare Consumers playlist from the Tricentis Academy.
	Displays help for the current screen.
	Includes options to display your user profile, or to log out.
